Das der letzte „Tomb Raider“-Comic erschien, ist schon eine Weile her. Nun kehrt die Abenteurerin/Archäologin/Spiele-Ikone Lara Croft zurück.
Dank der Zusammenarbeit von Dark Horse und der Spiele-Schmiede Crystal Dynamics/Square Enix (die den aktuellen Reboot der Videospiel-Reihe entwickeln) erscheint demnächst „Tomb Raider: The Beginning“, das Prequel zur Versoftung.
Die Story stammt dabei von der Autorin Rihanna Pratchett, die auch schon für die Hintergrundgeschichte des Action-Adventures verantwortlich ist.
Der Verlag plant scheinbar auch die Veröffentlichung einer brandneuen Ongoing, sobald das Spiel erstmal im Handel ist.

Ab Mai wird Dark Horse die zweiteilige Mini-Serie „Baltimore: Dr. Leskovar’s Remedy“ von Christopher Golden, Mike Mignola, Ben Stenbeck und Dave Stewart veröffentlichen, welche zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch um drei One-Shots ergänzt werden soll.

NEWS: Neues von Buffy

Ab Juni wird Dark Horse eine fünfteilige Mini-Serie veröffentlichen, deren Protagonistin die von „Buffy – The Vampire Slayer“ bekannte Drusilla sein wird. Das Kreativteam besteht aus Juliet Landau, Cliff Richards und Tim Seeley.

Ab April wird Dark Horse die neue fortlaufende Serie „Resident Alien“ von
Peter Hogan und Steve Parkhouse veröffentlichen. Hierin stürzt ein
Außerirdischer mit seinem Raumschiff auf der Erde ab und ist gezwungen,
unter den Einwohnern einer amerikanischen Kleinstadt zu leben. Nach Jahren
der erfolgreichen Täuschung läuft er schließlich Gefahr, entdeckt zu werden.
